Sir Paul McCartney premieres the Beatles , "Now and Then ," live in Uruguay. Filming and sound checks indicated that the song would be performed.
At the start of the Got Back Tour 2024 in South America, McCartney performed over 30 songs at a show in the Centenario Stadium. In addition to the debut of the Beatles' last single, the show featured compositions from his solo career and songs from the Liverpool quartet.
Paul McCartney's tour of South America will include a stop in Brazil in October, with shows in São Paulo and Florianópolis. Some tickets are still available on the Eventim website.
Origin of “Now and Then”
"Now and Then" is originally a demo recorded by John Lennon with vocals and piano. In 1994, Yoko Ono gave the demo to Paul McCartney, who, along with George Harrison and Ringo Starr, recorded new parts and completed the song, but were unable to separate Lennon's piano and vocals.
With the help of artificial intelligence, John Lennon's vocals were separated from the piano, thus making it possible to work on Lennon's voice and finalize the "last Beatles song".
